I remember

I remember you mom.

I must confess that we didn’t have the strongest of relationship but I do remember my mom who is now no more.

She gave me the reason to live. Her values and principles strongly imbedded. She took care of my needs though I didn’t make her happy all the time. The fierce independent spirit I inherited, no doubt.

The only regret remains – I wish I could have spent more quality time with you.

I wipe away my tears as I write these words.
